Journal - September 30, 2023

September has been another month of growing and learning. It seems that multiple times a day I'm finding out something that I didn't know before. This is part of what makes living outside of your passport country a challenge. But it's also an experience that will grow you and change you in a very rewarding way.

While often times the weight of responsibilities can seem overwhelming, I have been encouraged to have faith and trust in a God who is bigger that complicated circumstances. It is a blessing to have wise counsel and support from my Haitian and missionary family and friends.

I was able to meet my sponsor girl for the first time. After about 5 years of writing letters back and forth, now we both live in the same town. We look forward to meeting again.

Soccer season is wrapping up and I have enjoyed going to a few games and watching some of my friends play.
